**Important: Unless otherwise noted, all of the findings (ear wires, chains,
etc.), framed gems, and charms in the jewelry is plated. Plated findings have a
brass core with a thin layer of the metal color, the color that you see, on the
outside. This means that it will tarnish (become slightly discolored, or wear
out) over time. Plated materials are used to keep prices lower, so jewelry is
more affordable for you! In order to keep your jewelry from quickly tarnishing,
store jewelry in a closed container, away from other jewelry. It's best to
avoid extreme weather and moisture.
